The Quaffee Green Bean management system was designed to assist in the running
of our roastery at Buitenverwachting in Cape Town. It provides information to:
- Keep us up to date on stock levels
- Inform us when green bean needs to be reordered
- Keep track of cost prices and calculate the cost price of blends
- Identify the use that green bean has been put to (eg. roasted Single Origin, roasted
blends, green bean sales, stock variances)
- Calculate statistics such as overall yields, roast loss percentages and value of
stock used
- Provide reports for capturing into our accounting system
